Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

 Hold tight to fantasy

For they never fade

Life is a caged animal

That can't be freed

Hold tight to fantasy

For when it leaves

Life is a dessert

With no water
